It's a film handicap by a weak script that doesn't really get under the skin of the concept. Ira says Catch it. STOP LOSS may not have the magic of her last work, its still important- As in war and often in life, this one is not a bout a happy ending but rather the dark journey of men who are ultimately bound and confined by authorities leaving the taste in your mouth sour, rather than sweet. Magical fairytale potential collapses into Sandler's style sloppy cheesiness. Plot bit silly, Sandler back to BIG DADDY days, performances average- COX wasted, humor stale and story bit too corny.
